Thanksgiving

This year, as usual we had a Happy Turkey day. The turkey was happy (if they can be) because we had a turkey-less dinner. This year we went for the Tofurky. Now for those that haven't had it, and think: yuck! It's not bad. It won't fool anyone into thinking it's turkey. But that's not the point. After all many people eat sweet potatoes instead of white potatoes, but no one says that the sweet potatoes are a poor substitute since they do not taste like white potatoes. Instead the sweet potatoes are allowed to stand on their own. Same with the Tofurky. It's a different choice.

Turkey or no, we had a lot to be thankful for. Food on the table. A roof over our head. Clothes to wear. Good health. Far more than what most people on this Earth have. Yes, we had a lot to be thankful for. I bet you do too.

Greeting Tucson! I'm trying to locate my little sister, last known address was Tucson. I realize it's a big city, but I believe if I talk to enough people I'm bound to find one person what knows her. Please check out my posts on my blog...
